Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open for Excellent Non-Chinese graduates who:
- Are under 35 years old for Master’s and 40 years old for Doctorate.
- Are in good health, have a clean criminal record, and have strong academic backgrounds.
- Are NOT already funded by another organization.
- Meet language eligibility:
- Chinese-taught programs: HSK 4 with 260+ score.
- English-taught programs: IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL 85+.

Application Timeline
The application period for the 2025 Silk Road Scholarship Program at Central South University is currently open and will continue until May 20, 2025. Applicants are required to complete and submit their applications through both the CSU online system and the CSC portal before the deadline.
Following the submission, preliminary reviews will be conducted, and shortlisted candidates will be asked to pay the application and review fee. Admission results are expected to be announced by July 31, 2025, and successful candidates will receive their electronic admission letters and visa application forms accordingly.
The final enrollment and registration at Central South University are scheduled for the beginning of September 2025, with the exact date specified on the Admission Notice.
