In a major announcement that’s lighting up the international education community, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France has officially released the results of the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship Program for 2025. A total of 433 outstanding international students from 81 different nationalities have been selected to pursue their higher education dreams in France for the upcoming academic year.
Out of the total scholarships awarded:

- 370 scholarships have been granted for Master’s level studies
- 63 scholarships have been awarded to doctoral (PhD) candidates
This prestigious scholarship is a flagship initiative by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and is implemented by Campus France. Designed to attract the world’s top academic talent, the Eiffel Scholarship empowers international students to join elite French higher education institutions and contribute to global academic exchange.
“Bienvenue en France” – What Winners Receive?
Those fortunate enough to secure a place in the 2025 Eiffel cohort won’t just be receiving a warm welcome—they’ll also benefit from a comprehensive funding package that includes:
- Monthly Stipend:
- €1,181 per month for Master’s students
- €1,800 per month for PhD students
- Round-trip airfare between the student’s country of origin and France
- Health and social security coverage during their stay
- Access to cultural and professional enrichment activities, helping scholars integrate into French academic and social life
Additionally, French institutions that submitted winning candidates have been notified, and Campus France has individually informed each selected student. Candidates who haven’t yet received notification are advised to reach out to the institution that submitted their scholarship application.

These exceptional students will now begin preparing for their academic journey to France, starting in Fall 2025. They’ll be studying at some of France’s most prestigious universities and grandes écoles, engaging in research, innovation, and international collaboration.
