Funding Package
The UPA offers a generous, non-taxable stipend of AUD $35,522 per annum (2025 rate) for full-time students, helping to cover essential living expenses during your studies. This amount is indexed annually to keep up with inflation. The scholarship is awarded for 3.5 years for Doctoral candidates and 2 years for MPhil students, providing ample time to focus on your research goals without financial strain.
Who Can Apply?
The UPA is open to both domestic and international students, whether you’re a current UOW student or a future one. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolling in either a Doctoral program or a Master of Philosophy at UOW.
