Waseda University, one of Japan’s most prestigious institutions, has officially opened its doors to a new wave of international talent with the announcement of several competitive scholarships for the 2025 academic year. These scholarships aim to support privately funded international students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs within the university’s Faculty of Science and Engineering.
The university offers three (03) main types of scholarships, giving students multiple pathways to access funding:

– Funded directly by Waseda University, these scholarships are offered through an internal selection process. -
External Scholarships with University Recommendation
– Offered by external organizations but awarded based on faculty nominations or internal selection procedures. -
Open Application External Scholarships
