The University of Macerata (UniMC) has officially launched its Call for Applications for Scholarships aimed at international students enrolling full-time in the first year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree program for the academic year 2025/2026. This opportunity is designed to financially support outstanding students from across the globe who are ready to begin their higher education journey at one of Italy’s historic and internationally engaged universities.
Program Description
The University of Macerata offers these scholarships to international students (non-Italian) enrolling in three (03) year bachelor’s or two (02) year master’s programs taught in English or Italian. The scholarships are awarded on a merit basis, and only applicants pre-admitted to their chosen study program are eligible to apply.
Funding Benefits
Successful applicants will receive a scholarship funded by UniMC, covering part of their tuition and/or living costs for the duration of their program. While the exact amount may vary, the scholarship offers significant financial relief and helps make higher education in Italy more accessible.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the UniMC Scholarships, applicants must:
- Be pre-admitted to a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at the University of Macerata for the a.y. 2025/2026.
- Submit the pre-admission application by April 18, 2025.
- Be born on or after January 1, 2001 (bachelor’s applicants) or on or after January 1, 1998 (master’s applicants).
- Not be currently enrolled at UniMC or have received this scholarship in previous years.
- Be a non-Italian European citizen or a non-EU citizen residing outside of Italy.
