UCL Undergraduate Scholarships for Class of 2025-2026

University College London (UCL) has officially opened applications for its Undergraduate Funding and Access Awards (UGFA) for the 2025–2026 academic year—and international students are encouraged to apply!

Funded by generous UCL alumni, philanthropic partners, and the university itself, these scholarships aim to support a diverse range of students from around the world in making UCL their academic home.


What’s on Offer?

Through a single application, eligible international students can be considered for multiple scholarship schemes offered by UCL. These awards are designed to support high-achieving students with financial need, helping them pursue full-time undergraduate studies at UCL and here’s what you could receive:

  • Full or partial tuition fee support
  • Living cost assistance
  • Recognition from one of the UK’s top global institutions
  • Scholarship awarded in addition to UCL’s Undergraduate Bursary.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step for International Students)?

The UGFA application process is completely online through UCL’s application portal Portico:

  1. Login to Portico: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/scholarships/undergraduate-funding-and-access-awards
  2. Click ‘View’ on the active undergraduate application you wish to fund.
  3. Go to the ‘Funding’ tab at the top of the screen.
  4. Click ‘Check and apply’ under ‘Funds Available’ to view scholarships you are eligible for.
  5. Click on a scholarship name to begin your application.
  6. Complete a separate application for each scholarship you wish to be considered for.

Application Deadline to Remember

The last date to apply for the UCL Undergraduate Funding and Access Awards is 5pm BST, Monday 7 July 2025 and the scholarship results will be announced by mid-September 2025.
