Fellowship Overview: Join the Future of Interpretable AI
Under the expert supervision of Pepa Atanasova and Prof. Isabelle Augenstein, the selected PhD candidate will pioneer new ways to interpret and explain the inner workings of NLP models. You’ll be working closely with the CopeNLU group — a dynamic and internationally respected team focusing on interpretable AI, fact-checking, question answering, and deep language understanding.

Who Should Apply?
- You must have or expect to complete a MSc degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field by the time you begin.
- A background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and/or Machine Learning (ML) is highly desirable.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential.
- Prior scientific publications or relevant work experience will be viewed favorably.
