Funding Benefits
This scholarship offers reimbursement-based funding depending on the level of your program:
1# Up to $5,000 per 12-month scholarship year for:

- Diploma programs
- Undergraduate degrees.
2# Up to $7,500 per 12-month scholarship year for:

- Master’s degrees
- PhDs
- CPA Professional Education Program (CPA-PEP).

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Pacific Leaders Scholarship, you must:
- Be a regular full- or part-time BC Public Service employee
- Have completed at least 6 months of service and passed probation
- Be meeting or exceeding expectations in your current role, as confirmed by your supervisor
- Be pursuing a formal program of study (certificate, diploma, or degree)
- Be committed to a return of service agreement—meaning, for every 12 months of scholarship funding, you agree to continue working in the public service for a specified time.
Application Timeline – May 2025 Intake
The scholarship is offered three times a year, and right now, the May 2025 intake is open and here’s what you need to know:
- Application Deadline: May 31, 2025
- Eligible Study Period: September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2026.
Important: You can only receive one scholarship in a 12-month period.
