Fellowship Details
- Duration: Up to 6 months, to be completed before 31 July 2026
- Funding:
- Living cost support based on ETH Zurich’s international student cost estimates
- Travel and project-related costs covered by the host PI
- Must declare any other income/scholarships received during the stay
- Deliverables: Research report, financial report, and proper acknowledgment in publications
Eligibility Criteria
This opportunity is open to:
- Master’s students, PhD researchers, or Postdoctoral researchers
- Students must:
- Be currently enrolled in a program related to the chosen host research group
- Stay affiliated with their home institution during the fellowship
- Not have previously studied or worked at the hosting Swiss institution
- Fulfill the requirements of the host institution

- CV (max. 2 pages, include publications if applicable)
- Motivation letter (for Master’s applicants)
- Research proposal with plan and timeline (for PhD/Postdocs)
- Letter of support from your home institution and supervisor
- Academic transcripts and/or degree certificates
- Declaration of income/scholarships during fellowship period
- Choose up to 3 research topics and 3 potential host PIs within NCCR Automation
