Who Should Apply?
The Fellowship is open to applicants:
- Who identify with or support marginalized, refugee, or forcibly displaced communities
- With a scalable nonprofit or for-profit venture that is already serving underserved populations
- Eligible applicants include those from or creating impact in India, Uganda, Brazil, the Philippines, Colombia, Mexico, Germany, Pakistan, Nigeria, Costa Rica, Argentina, Japan, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, the United States, and Bangladesh.

Application Timeline
The Western Union Global Fellowship Program 2025 will officially run from August 25 to December 16, 2025. It begins with a two-week virtual immersive experience starting on August 25, during which fellows will commit approximately 10 to 15 hours per week.
Following the immersive, participants will attend live virtual sessions every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM MT (GMT-6), with an overall weekly commitment of 8 to 10 hours throughout the program. The Fellowship concludes with a high-impact Virtual Summit on December 16, 2025, where fellows will showcase their ventures and connect with global changemakers.
