The CISCO Virtual Internship Program 2025 is a fully remote, structured internship opportunity designed to empower students with digital and cybersecurity skills. Organized by Cisco in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), this initiative is part of Cisco’s broader effort to strengthen India’s future tech workforce.

Through the Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) platform, the internship offers a curated learning experience with practical training modules and mentorship from industry experts. The program is ideal for students in engineering or technical diploma programs who are eager to develop in-demand digital skills—right from their homes.

This opportunity is not linked to Cisco India’s standard internship program and is independently managed via Cisco NetAcad and AICTE.

Tasks

Interns in this program will:

• Complete online courses in networking and cybersecurity via Cisco NetAcad

• Attend live industry sessions conducted by Cisco professionals

• Tackle a real-world problem under faculty mentorship

• Submit a final project and pass a concluding quiz

• Earn digital badges and receive a certificate of completion

Qualifications

Education and Certification

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year student in a recognized engineering or technical diploma program

• Be enrolled in a Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad)-affiliated institution

• Final-year students are not eligible

• Submit proof of course completion and digital badge credentials for certification

Experience

• No previous job or internship experience is required

• A basic understanding of networking or cybersecurity is preferred

• Strong interest in technology and digital tools is essential
