The Graduate School of Korean Studies, under the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS), is a prestigious government-funded institution located in Seongnam, South Korea. It offers intensive research-focused programs in Korean Studies to foster experts who will contribute to the global promotion of Korean heritage, thought, and culture.

All courses are delivered either in Korean or in Korean-English bilingual format, depending on the track and program.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the AKS Graduate Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
- Be a non-Korean national (Korean ethnicity allowed if born and raised abroad).
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree for Master’s programs, or a Master’s degree for Doctoral programs.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in Korean Studies or Korea-related research.
- Possess adequate Korean or English language skills for coursework.
- Meet all academic requirements and submit all documents before the deadline.
